About Me
This Is Me
For college, I attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, where I kept busy participating in clubs and working as an editor for Klipsun, WWU's award winning student magazine.
In June 2022, I graduated with a B.A. in News and Editorial Journalism, and Minors in Psychology, Religion and Culture, and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies.
I then took a gap year working at Walt Disney World through the Disney College Program, where I was lucky enough to work attractions in Adventureland, as well as crowd control for parades and fireworks.
After a brief 10 month stint back in Kansas where I worked as the Communications Coordinator for the Sedgwick County Zoo, I moved back to Florida to be closer to friends and to theme parks.
Since March 2024 I have worked for The Art Corner by Artistic Talent Group, a company "made up of highly trained, immensely talented, and passionate artists who are ready to enhance your event with their work."
In my free time, I like to drink coffee, watch horror movies, and hang out with my cat, Akasha.
Vampires
My freshman year of college I wrote a paper comparing Mary Shelley's Frankenstein to Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, and the way both stories worked as epistolary novels.
And then I went, "Wouldn't it be funny if I made every project for the rest of college with an open prompt relate back to vampires?"
And that's exactly what I did.
